    Interesting early doors.

    It's like a JRPG-Western Hybrid.

The area levels are more detailed than the sparse empty areas you'll find in a traditional JRPG. Combat takes place in real time. Changing your gear is reflected on your character in game, same with changes to your weapons.

Early doors the combat seems a bit clunky... almost as if you're only starting to crack the surface of a very detailed skill tree (which is how you actually start the game).

You don't have to be main-ning the Rogue class to use stealth. There are certainly smarter ways to take on groups of enemies than charging in blindly and then complaining your level 2 character got mobbed.

This is very early on but from what I've read from a number of different reviews, both positive and negative... the negative guys (and I'm not talking about Frolf above here)... clearly some of the negative reviewers resent the fact that they had to change
the difficulty to "Easy" to get to grips with the game. Rather than review it like a person who paid money for it... they review it as 'Self Proclaimed Professional Gamers' and if they can't breeze through on Normal this is the GAME's fault... not theirs.

Look it up, you'll find people slating this game... and you'll find people loving it.

As a new IP and a fresh RPG it deserves more praise than derision.

Go in there expecting "Batman: Arkham Knight" or "The Witcher 3" quality and you're gonna be disappointed but you've set yourself unrealistic expectations.

Budget Sci-Fi can sometimes be excellent Sci Fi.

This is Budget Sci-Fi but and it does have moments.

    Excited for Greedfall?

From what I have heard, this is better than Technomancer in every way. I am thinking about giving Technomancer a try on the side soon before jumping into Greedfall.

Looks like my sort of thing but might wait a couple of weeks to see what people think first

I really wanted to like this game but it's just not that great. I never agree with ign's review but they were pretty spot on but I would rate it more like a 6.5. The combat is sloppy (just finished binging on the witcher 3 so it's quite hard to compete with
that. The dialogue gets boring with bad voice overs. And it's becomes confusing when faced with mobs since nothing is shown on your mini map as far as friendlies and enemies. The game isn't the best looking but it does have some pretty sceneries and some of
the aliens are awesome to look at. I will probably just witch the game to easy and race through it to at least get my money's worth. If your faced with more then four humans at once you will likely get destroyed.....
