The "surprise" game of 2014

Titanfall.

I'm primarily a Playstation gamer, but I grabbed Titanfall one day when Amazon had it on cheap. When I finally set up the console in September, Titanfall was the second game I played, and was the only one I played for ages after. My PS friends give me crap
for it, but I love Titanfall.

Sunset Overdrive, I wasn't hyped for it when it was announced, when it released I got it on whim, and I loved it.

 

^ Same, SSO surprised me allot, It's my Saturday game until I finish it.

 

Watchdogs i just recentley picked it up an i love it i just hope they step it up a notch for watchdogs 2

 

Halo MCC.

I know Multiplayer is still broken and peps have mentioned issues where achievements didn't unlock. but the week it came out I did a lot of Youtube videos on it. And, the re-mastered Halo 2 Campaign looks
bling too.

 

Wolfenstein. I was looking forward to it but didn't think it would turn out as good as it did.

 

Just Dance 2014

I fully expected my Kinect (mandatory at the time) to be a paperweight, when I bought my Xbox One. After fooling around with Xbox Fitness for a bit, I picked up a sale copy of Just Dance 2014 and haven't looked back. I'd never played motion games before;
I sure didn't expect them to become my daily genre to play, either.

 

Definitely loved Wolfenstein as well.

Was one of the games I had been most excited about on X1, and it didnt disappoint

 

Probably Ryse. When it was first shown I was the first to say it was just a QuickTime game that I wasn't interested in. As I saw more of it I decided to get it when it first got a 50% reduction. Really enjoyed the gameplay especially on the harder settings
and it looked fantastic.

Good to see many here mention Wolfenstein. My GOTY.

 

The Wolf Among Us.

Not my favourite XB1 game but I missed it first time around, didn't even read much about it when it released on XB1 but saw it was reduced in price over Christmas, downloaded it not really knowing what to expect and after 2 minutes of play I was totally
hooked!

Fantastic game and a game that in my opinion no-one should miss out on.

 

Sunset Overdrive. I wasn't hyped at all for this game. I got it over Christmas and I love it. It's such an awesome game. When you traverse long distances with style and never touch the ground is such a great feeling. It's almost therapeutic.

When I'm done playing for the evening I still think about it. lol

 

Unity or Wolfenstein for me
