    The Surge Windows 10 crashes on the title screen.


    So I've just installed The Surge on my computer. I know from the past that it worked. But this time, I get to the title screen, where it tells me to press space bar to continue, I do that, and it just crashes the entire game.

    Already tried reinstalling the game, and updating my GPU drivers, and both those didn't help.

    How do I fix this?

    So the console is powering all the way off, not just crashing back to the home screen? If so, are you plugged into a surge strip or directly into the wall? Try going straight to the wall as the S and X have built in surge suppressors.

    If that doesn't work I'd take it back to the store and get an exchange since it's brand new.

    Possible workaround, if using a surge protector/ outlet strip try plugging Xbox Series X directly into wall outlet.

    So far so good, several 6+ hour bf2042 sessions with no crashing. Why this only affects BF2042 and not the 20 other titles I've played while using 2 daisy chained surge protectors before my wall outlet with no issues, no clue.
