no microsoft employee would ever tell you to change an internal hdd on the console, this would most likely of been an unofficial support person.

she showed me the procedure that I was not supposed to do. however the agent contacted the insider team. and after that she told me to open the console and change the hdd and install osu for pen (link). therefore I just followed directions from support. I didn't do anything wrong. but they were the ones who told me that the console could not go to the factory as it no longer has support, and that the support was made this way. I was in doubt, but if an agent says to do something it is because it is to do it. and now i am stuck . they do want to repair and take the responsabilites

Well two things first those consoles cannot be serviced they are no longer made

2 you wait for regedit

You dont EVER goto support for insider issues

Unless you didn't mention that you had insiders they will refer you to regedit since insiders is beyond their scope

Unless you mean forums here this is mostly gamers not support
