super psyched. just received Madden 25 in the mail. i've been playing this game with a friend on his PS3. its a fun game and i start playing, starting with updating rosters until i was notified that i needed to jump through several hoops to "improve the
security of my account." all i wanted to do was to update the rosters . . . half of my evening was spent setting up a new password for my account, receiving texts to do so, etc. and now i have to purchase a gold membership to update these rosters . . . no
thanks. i witnessed my buddy on his PS3 update his rosters in a matter a few minutes, for free. this may seem petty, but i am finished with xbox and in the future i plan on converting to play station, just as several of my friends have. thank you xbox,

No Digital Version?

This was literally the last straw for me. Over the years I've put up with a lot of crap from Microsoft all while hotly defending their brand but this was the straw that broke the camels back. They lost another loyal customer with this one.

 

I was super stoked for XBOX One, been playing XBOX since day one, love the service and console but....

A $30 retail game is the straw that broke the camel's back? LOL

I've been a LIVE member since the beginning. I haven't gotten an email. Would I like one? Yes. Will I cancel my preorder if I don't get one? No.

No-one cares about this camel in the slightest.

 

2 things mate, 1. When you don't use your origin account for a while they do that. 2. The PS4 is the same way in respect to rosters so good luck with that.

If you wanted to let the OP know your thoughts, then you in fact did have some level of interest. It was important enough to you that you needed to comment on it.

Yeah, if you're going to go out your way not to care, then maybe you should rethink your strategy. Nothing more painful than seeing someone claiming over and over again not to care, when in actual fact it comes across as you care more about it than almost
everyone else.

 

Security settings can be frustrating but it's less frustrating than your account being compromised.

 

Are you sure it was a camel and not a dromedary ?

OP you just need to set up 2 security proofs and you will be fine
