THE Sidebar when you press the Xbox button is not working

Is your console up to date? If so I've seen in other threads that you may have to factory reset your console.

I spent some time trying to figure this out. The way I made it work was the following.

1. Connect your xbox controller via bluetooth

2. Start Halo on Steam

3. When you are asked to sign in using you Microsoft credentials, press the xbox icon on your controller (what you use to turn the controller on) and the A button at the same time. A sidebar will show up on the right hand side of your screen.

4. Navigate down on the sidebar screen and select the keyboard option. This will bring up the on screen keyboard.

5. Enter your username

6. press next

7. repeat with your password.

Hope this helps

It should be in the sidebar. Press it and it takes you to the login screen or just go to settings.

1. Plug the headset into the Xbox controller.

2. While in the Home screen, press the Xbox button on the controller. Scroll down to the buttons on the bottom of the left sidebar, and then select the Speaker icon (Audio)

3. Configure your settings as shown:

Set Headset Volume to Maximum
Set Headset Chat Mixer to the Middle Setting
Set Mic Monitor to Preferred Level

The closest I've got was to unsnap it to disappear from home screen.

Starting it always open Games n apps and a sidebar with Edge in it.

So in that position, not full screen - press xbox button to get to home screen.

Then with LS you can select the games and apps part, or the edge part or a unsnap part.

There you can get it out of sight at least.
