    The shipping label for my service order will not generate... Its been 2 weeks


    So the right bumper on my Xbox Elite 2 controller stopped working. I tried to create a service order on the Microsoft support website, but the website was not able to process my request. I eventually got connected to a live agent who was very helpful and
    created the service order for me. The agent told me it may take 72 hours to receive my shipping label to send out the controller, but my service order was created on 12/18/2020. Its now been 2 weeks and I haven't received a shipping label. I chatted with another
    live agent who said they would cancel the original order and create a new order... they didn't make me a new service order and stopped responding to my live chat. So the next day I called Xbox support; the agent on the phone understood the problem and was
    going to talk with his team for a solution. An hour and a half later with no communication from the agent on the phone I knew I wasn't going to get help. I would be willing to live chat with another agent, but I can't seem to find an option to live chat with
    Xbox support. Has anyone experienced this and what should I do? My warranty will be expiring soon and Microsoft has only been slightly helpful.

    Service Center is a joke

    I'm also experiencing issues of xbox suppoert service quality from some time. There is a problem with delivering shipping labels from UPS system after creating a service order on the support website.

    After few calls to the call center finally got a shipping label and sent the elite controller.

    But right now it almost 2 weeks after I received a confirmation that controller has left the service center and it I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. It takes too long this time.

    MS, what is going on with your support and service orders?

    Are you returning a purchase? if so, then yes. All you need to do is to include everything you received in its original packaging and attach the return label to the shipping box. Make sure there are no other labels on the shipping box.

    Xbox Repair and Expedited Shipping

    I have placed an order for repair, and have paid for expedited shipping TWICE, and NOT ONCE has a shipping label been available to print. There is no information on where to send my console for repair, just a nice note in my Service Box that my order is
    "In Process". Have spent many hours with the online support staff trying to get a shipping label, to no avail. Amazing to think that Microsoft has turned into a garden-variety internet scammer.

    I agree wholeheartedly, I have always thought that an item should NEVER show up as shipped until the first time the label has been scanned (which means it has been picked up by the carrier.) Unfortunately, this is not just an Xbox problem, though, because
    sites like eBay, etc. all immediately generate a "your order has shipped" message as soon as the label is printed (i.e. the tracking number has been generated.) Sadly, that means for an indeterminate amount of time, the tracking number will show no information
    (or in some cases will say "shipping information received" or something like that.)

    Another problem is, when MS generates the shipping label, it goes for an extended time with no tracking info because I don't believe UPS actually scans it until it enters the United States (any time I've had mine shipped, Mexico never shows up on the tracking,
    just "McAllen, TX" which is the closest US location.) So, after the label is printed, it has to be put on a truck and shipped across the border before UPS picks it up in McAllen, basically.

    I had this exact issue when I had my 360 repaired, it appears there is only one time or so per week that packages are picked up - they are designated as "shipped" by the repair facility, but they haven't yet been picked up by the carrier.
