  1. The screen displaying "Your settings don't allow purchases" appears even after I ...

    I attempted to buy GTA V with the megalodon shark card package, and I was told that my settings did not allow purchases, after going to my settings as instructed by the message "Double tap the xbox button to open the guide, then select settings > all settings
    > Account > Privacy & online safety > Custom >View details and customize" and the setting was set to allow all purchases. after repeating the process about an hour later and getting the same message saying my settings did not allow purchases, I logged onto
    the xbox website and found the settings on there, and they appeared to be set to allow purchases. I then toggled the settings and tried again, getting the same screen as a result. the screen mentioned that I should check the website of the policy and enforcement
    team, which said there was no issues. I need to fix this soon because GTA will not be on sale forever, and am out of options, please help

    :)

  3. "Change Your Settings to Allow Purchases"

    I'm trying to buy Battlefield 4 Premium Edition while it's on sale, but every time I try I get a message telling me that my settings don't allow me to download free or paid content or something to that effect. My settings say "anything" for restrictions
    on buying content, but I've continually gotten this message. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is it a problem with the Xbox services? If so, does anybody have any idea when it'll be fixed? I want to get Battlefield 4 before the sale ends.

    Hey there SkullDude,

    Sounds like you made some settings adjustments and it might be that the console needs to be refreshed to have the proper settings on your profile. Try a power cycle with these steps to see if you're able to make the purchase.

    Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

    HDMI Aspect Ratio

    Whatever the solution to your issue is going to be, I would bet that it is going to be in System Settings | console settings | display.

    I would first of all make sure that the HDMI settings automatically appear in here. Assuming they do, check your screen format and make sure the aspect ratio is correct.

    I would then check the 'Display Discovery' option ... make sure that you change it to 'enabled', then restart your console. This will allow the 360 console to automatically detect the settings that your display device currently has.

    When playing Division the screen is all zoomed in and I’ve tried everything. Help!

    If you play on Xbox One, you can use the Safe Frame setting to adjust the screen. To find this setting

    - Once you launch the game, from the main menu - before hitting New Game or
    Continue, select Settings then Display

    - You'll be able to adjust the Safe Frame slider to allow your monitor or TV to display more of the screen

    If this doesn't alleviate the issue, it's possible that your screen isn't set up correctly to display the game. Changing your TV / screen settings may correct the situation.

    The exact steps will depend on the brand and model of your screen or TV, but please try different:

    - aspect ratio settings;

    - display area settings;

    - overscan setting;

    Some screen also have a Zoom feature that, if enabled, could cause the screen to be cropped.

    If you are unsure how to do this, please consult your screen's manual or manufacturer.

    These steps should allow you to display the full game screen.

    Xbox Series x speed

    I understand to try the procedure to follow, please.

    After connecting the cable to your Xbox and your monitor, go to your Xbox display settings and set Overrides for HDMI ( General > TV & Display Options > Video fidelity and overscan). After doing this, the screen should display a resolution of 480p and a new dropdown list for refresh rate should appear in the TV and display options menu. After that go back to the resolution settings and change it to 1080p and refresh rate to 120HZ.

    To confirm that the console is at 1080p 120HZ, look at the monitor's system information menu (Menu>System Setup>Information.
