Can you tell us if you have Windows 10 fully updated? Is it possible that you are enrolled in the Windows Insider program?

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with the Xbox recording. To help clarify: What device are you using? (Xbox/Windows 10 PC)

I recommend checking out the following troubleshooting articles:

• Recording problems
  with Game DVR

• Record and capture Xbox
  One game clips and screenshots

Try this out and let us know the results.

Try Resetting the Xbox app. This usually fixes any problems for me.

1. Type "Programs" into your Start's search bar.
2. Click on "Add or Remove Programs"
3. Scroll down the program list until you find the "Xbox" app. It's probably at the bottom.
4. Click on the "Xbox" app listing and you should be presented with a few options. Click "Advanced Options"
5. Scroll down and find the "Reset" Option.

Follow any on screen prompts until you reset the app.



Log back in and check to see if your problem is fixed.
