The saved games for my PC and Cloud are both incorrect, can i access an old saved version...

I have gamepass installed on my PC, but when i try to play it using cloud gaming on the same PC my save is not there, both appear to be running version 1.5.. any ideas?

I checked the game is Xbox play anywhere in fact I remember I initially played it on the cloud and then on pc but at the moment all the saves disappeared. Can Xbox check my cloud and see if there's an old game save?

You would have to start over. When you play through the cloud, you're playing the console version of a game. That game doesn't support cross saves, so the console save is not accessible through the PC version of the game.

This question "applies to PC gaming", so I assume you're asking about the PC version of Forza.

If your game save is corrupted, perhaps you can try and retrieve an old save backup from the cloud. To do it, open your PC's settings, go to apps, search for Forza Horizon 4, select "advanced options", and then click on "Reset". This will clear your local
saved data without deleting your game. Next time you start the game, it will retrieve the last save file updated to the cloud.
