    "The saved data we have in the cloud is different to the data on this Xbox"


    I keep getting this message when loading up Ghosts. It then asks me to choose between data on "this console" which it says it older, or data from Xbox LIVE which it says is newer. This problem started after the LIVE problems a few days ago. It does not happen
    every time, but more often than not it does happen. Has anyone else got this problem?

    Far Cry 5 Will not Launch on my Xbox One

    How do I save the data onto the cloud? Is it done automatically? Sorry if I'm coming off as doubtful or too worried, it's just I have a lot of progress I'd rather keep. Thanks for the response though mate!

  5. Mine started today when I added another account. I used the same details I use for my active account and after that everything changed .. my degital games were rebooted and I had to start from level 1. Some are asking to sync and after they do they ask
    me that cloud question ..

    I don't know which one to pick . Am confused ..

    Sync data issue

    Hello SPECTRE_KENNEDY,

    Thank you for keeping up with us. The option to clear local saved data removes saved data from the console itself. As long as the console has a connection to Xbox Live, saved games are automatically stored in the cloud. If you have any games that you have
    played while offline, we recommend going online with those games to upload the saved data to the cloud. Once all you saved data is secured on the cloud, we suggest clearing the local saved games. Sometimes an account may have trouble with collecting the saved
    data from the cloud. This is where clearing local saved games can help. The option to clear local saved games will re-sync the saved data from the cloud to your account. We hope this helps!

    Didnt get my progress from PC to Xbox One in Forza Horrizon 4

    it should sync automatically.

    if there is a difference between the cloud save and the local save, read the information very carefully to work out which is the one you want to keep.

    for example, your Xbox should have newer save data than the PC save on the Cloud (if that wasn't over written by the Xbox save data when you started the game up)

    try starting on the PC and choose local data to keep as that should be your save with all your progress.

    play for a while and let that save and synchronise the data with the cloud, then shut down the game and start it on Xbox and it should detect the cloud save and sync automatically.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are seeking a way to access specific save data in the Cloud storage.

    While you're playing a game, game data is stored on your Xbox One console. When you leave a game, your data is stored to both your hard drive and the cloud. However, any save data stored in the Cloud is automatically overwritten by any new save data sync.
    Syncing data pretty much happens automatically.
