Its not true, you can tell because PS4 owners for some reason think Bluetooth is the future, even tho all new devices are using wifi direct protocols such as the Xbox one does. So why would you add Bluetooth compatibility for no reason and developers could
not use it widely due to the 4 million sales of Xbox ones that don't have it, that has already been sold

Given that they initially wanted to released a drive less console, they probably have quite a few design ready to use. They'd probably use a new design to make it look right and then use the smaller size as a marketing tool.
