The right stick of my controler have a problem

As I said in the title, the right stick of my controler always want to move to the front even when I don't use it. It's really annoying because I can't do actions like stand by or navigate in a menu...

How can I change my controler for a new one, Because it's make less than a year that I got it?

My screen moves alone

When I play for example Destiny or Gears of War 4, the right stick a moves alone a little, I thought that it was the control, but when I bought a new one the same problem, the right stick moves alone just in my account, my brother play as usually whitout
problems in his account.

 

Controller Help

Due to an unfortunate accident when I was younger I am now paralyzed and in a wheelchair. I have no use of my legs and limited use my arms with no finger dexterity. I am unable to use the standard Xbox 360 controller.

Therefore I purchased an arcade style stick (think streetfighter or Mortal Kombat type of arcade controls). While I can't utilize all the functions of certain games, there were enough options of control or modification to make it fun to play.

Now to the main reason of my post. I absolutely love first-person shooter games such as call of duty, medal of honor, Halo, etc. But the single biggest problem with all of these games is that it requires the use of the right stick on a 360 controller for looking
around and aiming. And I do not have a right stick on my arcade controller. Basically is what I am asking is if anyone here knows which games have an option to control direction of your player with the left stick. Example, instead of strafing left and right
when you push left and right on the left stick, I would simply turn in that direction. Kind of like a classic throwback a button configuration before the right stick became so often used.

But I can't use the remplacement of my controler, when I click on the good link it's tells me "a problem... please try again" but I do it several time and no matter how many I do it it gives me the same answer and problem.

 

I also got the same issue with BOTH my controllers, and Microsoft dared to ask me 60$ each to replace them, which is the same cost in every store I can go to! This is pretty shameful as I've been a loyal Microsoft client for years, and I would totally accept
my responsibility by paying if I broke them, but in this case there is clearly a defect that MUST be fixed by Microsoft by replacing them for free!

However, the controller which is less than 2 years old with reasonable and standard use has failed. the durability of this product is in question, under UK law under section 14 of the Sales of Goods Act 1979 goods must be of reasonable qualtiy, durable and
fit for its purpose. Durablitiy appears to be a problem, given that its intended use of this product for sale by Microsoft or that a defect in design that has not held up with correct use has lead to a malfunction. Under this law, goods must demonstrate durablity
for up to 6 - 10 years. So I would like to know how I can resolve this problem and either have the controller repaired or replaced without having to resort to any court/legal action, as I'm finding it difficult to get any answer from support team or have anyone
escalate the matter with another team to resolve the matter. Can someone please provide help with this matter other than, it's not in warranty.

Sorry to hear of the issues you have been experiencing with your Xbox One controllers.

Firstly, can you please try the following steps to try to fix your controllers:

1. Make sure that your controller has fresh batteries and that your controller is updated (plug in via USB cable and go to settings and find the controller update section).

2. Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.

3. Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.

4. Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.

5. Power on your console and try resyncing the controller to your console again.

If this still does not fix your controllers, you will need to order a replacement controller. If it's still under warranty, it will be free, otherwise there is a charge.

I understand that this is frustrating, and as you have pointed out, the Sales of Goods Act may apply. A member of the Xbox Forums Support team will comment on this thread soon to advise on how to proceed with this.

In the future, can I ask that you create a new thread of your own rather than commenting on a previous thread as it is more manageable for the staff, and they will be able to reply quicker.
