The Ridiculous Xbox Reputation System

Hello Everyone:

My name is Ryan and I have been an Xbox user since it first came to the scene. I have had endless amounts of fun over the years and still to this day thouroghly enjoy Xbox. Recently though, I have run into a very serious issue that I would like to get resolved
or explained.

My issue is the Xbox reputation system. This system is extremely faulty and plays no vital role on Xbox live. Players abuse this system outside of it's intended use. I have recently experienced the harsh and unjustifiable reality that is this reputation
system. Since 2 or 3 weeks ago, I have been on "avoid me" reputation. After looking through the reasons as to why I got reported, yes, there are definitely some reports that I do deserve as I let my frustrations get the best of me, but a mohority of these
are abolsutrky absurd. I mean I had 5 people report me for cheating... cheating.... come on now. If I cheated, I would understand but how often to people cheat on Xbox, especially in overwatch these days. I also have 15 reports for unsporting behavior. People
seem to report you at their leisure, regardless of it holds any meret or not.

Since I am on the reputation "avoid me", I cannot play most games. The only games I can play for the most part are call of duty, battlefields, and some free games from the Xbox store. Outside of those games, most others base a lot of their matchmaking system
off of microsofts reputation system. This means that since I am a player other players should avoid, I can only play with other players who are queuing in that same game who are also on the avoid me reputation. This is absolutely ridiculous,
especially if players don't have the capability of playing the few games that don't rely on the reputation system. I pay for Xbox live each month and thanks to this reputation system, I cannot use anything Xbox live related because the few games that I have
rely heavily on the reputation system.

I spoke with Xbox support, thouroughly. Luckily for me, they have absolutely no jurisdiction when it comes to this reputation system. After further investigation, it seems as though not a single person (managers/higher ups included) related to Xbox or microsoft
has an control or powers over this reputation system. This might be the poorest designed characteristic microsoft has ever implemented.

The funny thing about all of this is that when I look up my reputation and all the reports against me through Microsoft, my reputation says "good player", but if I view my profile through my Xbox one, it says "avoid me". Something doesn't add up. How can
I have one reputation say good player and the other reputation say avoid me. I discussed with Xbox support for almost 2 hours and they were utterly confused. They have never once seen a Microsoft account say good player or avoid me and their Xbox profile not
reflect that. I just happen to be one of the first cases. Now before I get any criticism or comments talking about a lack of investigating or patience (maybe one hasn't caught up to another), I have done everything I can. Xbox support had to call in 5 different
managers and 4 different workers to try and figure out the problem an and here unsuccessful. I have been patiently waiting on a change for 3 weeks now that has yet to come. I think there is something wrong, no?

To top it all off, my friend and I looked up his reputation and reports compared to mine and he has 5+ more reports than I do in every single category and his reputation is not even on "needs work". How does that make sense?

I tried to get this avoid me off for two weeks by reading all of the forums, listening to what Xbox support says, etc. and nothing seems to work. I have borrowed battlefield from a friend so that I can have the statistical analysis that the reputation system
goes off of head in my favor (playing with a bunch of players and not getting reported), I have had 10 of my friends like 50+ things on my activity feed (the managers and workers at Xbox support said this would work), and countless other tips that have all
led to failure.

So now I am coming to the forums and asking for any help at all resolving this issue. Please, feel free to let me know any thoughts, opinions, advise, things that have worked for you, literally anything at this point.

[Fix] "Avoid Me" Reputation

This is my 3rd Xbox One, I had one PS4, and the PS4 it was really better. Why I sold my PS? Thanks Microsoft for this stupid reputation system. It's ridiculous and some player will be problems for your stupid ideas. GO TO SONY.
