The record button(x) has dissapearead from snap. What do i do?

Hi! I havent been able to record or take a screenshot for a year now. I have tried hard reseting, game dvr settings are checked and i have plenty of space left. What else could i try?

Xbox One March update: SCREENSHOTS!!!!!!

You know how when you double tap the Xbox button it brings up the thing that allows you to choose to snap, switch between your snapped or main screen, or unsnap? And it also has X for record? Now it has Y for screen shot.

Is snap still available?

Snap has been gone for a while now. To take a screenshot or record a clip you press the home button then either Y for screenshot or X for clip.

then upload studio to edit and save

if you dont have a kinect... I am sure you can press multiple buttons to get to the same destinations

like double tap XB button to bring up snap feature and press X to records

do the same and snao game DVR > end ciip etc etc

I don't think that's true. According to the major nelson video for the update, all you have you do is press the Xbox button twice then x. You dont have to snap anything. And I checked with my brother's console and it works with his. He gets the option to
press x to record.

The recording captures the last 30ish seconds when you press it, so it sounds like it's working right.

The DVR is basically always recording. If you snap the DVR app, you can do the option to start and stop up to 5 minutes.

The X button just quick grabs the last 30 seconds.

Hopefully this helps as I see this post is from well over a month ago.
