the purchase of xbox live with a promise of a $10 giftcard (dashboard)

i was looking at the dashboard and it said there was suppose to be a $10 giftcard with a purchase of xbox live i didnt receive it and dont know how to obtain or use it can i please get some help

I assume for Xbox One you'll see a bunch of "Get a $___ Xbox Giftcard with the purchase of Xbox One titles"

 

Is there any way to use a VISA/Mastercard ect. style giftcard for Xbox Live purchases?

Hello everyone. After reading some of the history for this issue I wanted to reopen it. Have we established any way of using a prepaid giftcard/debit card for making xbox live purchases?

 

Did you buy a subscription from the dashboard or prepaid code

If prepaid code then no you don't qualify

You must purchase with a valid payment. Option

Codes count as previous purchases

Did you buy a year subscription?

Or month to month most likely it's a yearly requirement

Unknown since I haven't seen them promotion but wouldn't make sense for month to month

Also there only 10 dollar promotion I know of is there ms store not xbox live forever purchasing games not membershils

That's prdepends on the terms and conditions of the promotjon

It's probably why most likely it required a year donno since I haven't seen the promo

FYI it can take up to 6-8 weeks

 

It should ask be noted while you are waiting for the code you can't cancel the membership

This included removing the payment option and getting a prepaid code form support

The payment option must remain on file till after you receive the code

The code should deliver up to 4 weeks after purchase. Did you purchase through the promotion screen, and when was the purchase made?
