    The PUBG fiasco


    As a long standing xbox live member I'd like to express my disappointment at developers of PUBG who have seemingly took the money and run in the biggest exit scam in xbox history.

    I believe that microsoft has a duty to take them to task due to the exclusivity deal and marketing that suckered us into the purchase of a broken game. MS should force them to optimise and debug the game so it's in a playable state.

    The "game" has been trash since day 1 and still isn't fit for purpose. The developers are certainly not short of the funds to fix the game considering how much they raked in from the xbox platform alone. I notice that within that time they have developed
    and released the free mobile version which runs better than the xbox version I might add, pursued Epic in a legal battle, added multiple maps, all whilst leaving in bugs and terrible network and performance issues.

    To add insult to injury they have even had the audacity to implement a free to play transaction structure into the game we paid for in droves!!! It is without a doubt my most negative experience on the xbox platform, akin to Sony's No Man's Sky fiasco.

    I would like a refund, I feel like we're all certainly entitled to one.

    Hacks require further modifications and alterations by a third party; post release.

    The game worked for me what little I’ve played of it.

    I agree though, that studio seems like a sad state of affairs.

  6. Just wanted to say: Game Preview.

    Sure it's still not optimized but you made your initial purchase with that information in mind that it was still in active development and may not function at all.

  7. The company has every right to switch how the payment system works for their game. In your case, you paid for early access to the game and got to be apart of the creation process. Now that its left game preview, its considered a finalized version of the
    base game. They can continue to push out updates and fixes from this point forward and sell new content as they see fit.

    You can see similar cases in even some of the biggest games out there. People thought Rainbow Six Siege was terribly bug ridden at launch and they continued to listen to feedback and make adjustments until it reached where it is today.

    With all this being said, I do still understand your frustration and disappointment but don't just give up on them. Work with them to help create the best version possible with your constructive feedback.

    The company has every right to switch how the payment system works for their game. In your case, you paid for early access to the game and got to be apart of the creation process. Now that its left game preview, its considered a finalized version of the

    [/quote]There was no "FIFA fiasco". It was a handful, yes literally a handful that were affected when it comes to the volumes on XBL who were not affected at all. It was User Error and nothing more.

    I would say that hardly qualifies as a "fiasco".
