Just to clarify, when did you purchase an Xbox Live membership? It can take up to 4 weeks after you have purchased Xbox Live Gold through the Dashboard promotion. Thanks!

 

Hi Quimby, I've only purchased recently. I wasn't aware that it would take up to 4 weeks, I figured being a CD Key it would be instant or up to 24 hours. Never it would of crossed my mind that it would take so long for a cd key to be delivered. Having said
that though, since that's the rules, I'll wait patiently. Many thanks for checking in.

I would like to ask, as it has been one week since I made the purchased. Does it usually take 4 weeks? It seems very odd that this is the time they allow to send a key code for a promotion. It sounds like something thats simple enough to be done in a smaller
time gap.

 

Yes, it's normal for promotions to take that long. Depending on the promo, the codes are sent either 4 weeks after purchase or 4 weeks after the promo ends.
