    Hi I bought a Xbox 360 Slim enabled parental control directed my question to people who know something about it. How to disable the controls or how to do a hard reset the console? Serial number: 609269303305 Console ID: 022471807584. Thank you in advance

    how to do a hard reset of the console is you need to go to settings and reset them or clear your cache which hopefully should work but you should be able to disable parental controls in the settings as long as you have the password if there is one that is

    I do not know the password for parental control codes therefore needs to factory settings

    If you have forgotten the password for your parental settings then you should give phone support a call. They can walk you through the reset process.

    Yes give phone support a call. It will be a lot quicker if you register your console before calling in as once you call in we will have to register it to get the unique code anyways. It takes a bit longer on our end than it would on yours to register.

    If you've bought a used Xbox 360 console or simply forgot the parental lock code, contact Xbox Support (phone/chat) and they'll be happy to help you reset it. They'll run you down with some instructions on how to reset the lock code. Have your console's
    serial number ready.

    I believe you have enter a secret button code (unique to every console) somewhere in the settings menu in order to reset it. An Xbox Support agent will tell you what that button code is.

    Hey Mateus thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us!

    We have encountered this issue before and what we found as a work around was to
    Create a new Microsoft account and add the existing account to a Microsoft Family. Once that is done make the original account the parent and go to the

    Xbox privacy page     and change the settings to adult from there. Give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any other issue or inquiry!
