Some of the ones coming to the Xbox one really appeal to me. I guess I am not cool or hip then, better put my hipster jeans and glasses back in the closet. Someone please point me to the forum for 23 year old children.

  2. yeah as soon as a great game comes out the big companies buy buy buy. and the little companies sell sell sell. I wish this didn't happen every time EA OR ACTIVISON SAYS HEY LETS MAKE THEM AN OFFER THEY CANT REFUSE. sound familiar. the big companies=the godfather
and they take and take. but to the ones that do survive in the market and have made stellar games. ROCK ON MAN ROCK ON.

  3. Well, I'm not going to complain about having more games available on the Xbox One. Indie devs are amazing!

There is nothing inherently wrong with lower budget games. I wouldn't have paid in excess of $400 to play games my Mac, PC, 360 and PS3 can run. THAT is the foolish part.

Indie is the future, I have a lot of fun with indie games, and while I love AAA games, some companies are getting too bloated for their own good.

Outlast is an indie game. That's definitely not for kids.

If i had the cash to make games in the ID@XBOX. I make pool game with team base gameplay. I had this Idea for this game since the 360 days. Back then. I had system link touramants mode. But XB1 lack that opion. So it had to be cut from planning board. But
it gain more players locally. When I drafth it for the 360. It was made had 2 on 2 team matches. But with controller count doubble from the 360. I think I gived it a 4 on 4 local match. And sinces server technoey advaniested. That online lobbeys can handle
10 player in the sub lobbey. So if there 64 sub lobbeys. Each lobbey can hold 640 players each. And that just the team lobbeys. Single online lobbeys can hold 128 players. There be 4 season mode. Single seaion, single online season, team season and team online
season. There also going be a trick shot mode. Aswell pool golf mode. And you can make you owned pool ball, stick and pool table faifth designs. And i think with the cloud. Computer controlled be base on how people played around the world.

  10. It's funny because some of the biggest reasons why I want a next-gen console is because of Indi games. Helllo Transistor.

  11. I agree with Bizarro about Outlast - definitely not a kid's game; I've seen adults freak out playing that game. Indy games can be great - they can offer many new and unique titles that try to make a name for themselves by simply being new and different that
aren't designed around the tried-and-true classic themes or formulas of older video games -
, which was revealed at last year's VGX is a good example of one that I'm personally looking forward to.

  14. I just don't see the appeal... I mean don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Indie games and I hope they do well for those who do like them. But for me, having a console that has so much potential and yet playing games that don't fully utilize it just
    doesn't trip my trigger.

Call me spoiled by AAA titles... and maybe you'd be right... but when I think about what kind of games I like and what I expect from them, I want the full and best experience possible from all aspects. From the console, to the devs to the story-teller's
ability, I want to say "Wow, this game looks great, sounds great and plays great! I felt so immersed." Not something an Indie title can do for me.

  15. Blue Illusion, I think you're a little confused - what you want is what every gamer wants. Many Indy games DO utilize what the console has to offer to the fullest - it's just harder for them and as a result they are harder to find. However, that's not what
separates Indy from AAA (although it often can be); the only thing that separates them really is the publisher - developers of many AAA titles have publishers that support them and give them a lot of money to complete and sell the game; on the other hand,
Indy game developers generally, for the most part, only have themselves to rely on. Indy developers, if successful, can often find support from publishers (if they choose to sign on the dotted line) or can grow into bigger studios (Double Fine is wonderful
    example of this).
