The "Plant on the Zombie team/ Zombie on the Plant team" Glitch and how to do it!

(I expect them to eventually patch this.)

Have you ever seen a Peashooter go up to another Peashooter and kill it? You will if you do this glitch. This allows you to be a Peashooter or ANY plant on the Zombie team and/or vice versa.

How to do it the easiest way possible - Go to the respawn menu/Character select. Make sure there is at least one more person on the other team (The one you're joining) than you. When you see a message telling you you can't join the team, hold down the Switch
teams button and mash A like crazy. When the switch goes through (And If you are still mashing A) There is a large chance you will be the character your cursor was on (When you were on the team you wanted to leave) will be playable on the other team. (The
switch may never go through. You have been informed.)

~Gardens & Graveyards~

For me, It's easier on the zombie side as a Peashooter. Use your High Jump/Hyper abilities and toss a Bean Bomb into the garden (When it is full of plants) and it will vanquish all of them. Be careful sneaking around. One wrong move and you could blow your
cover!

Glitch When Downloading Downloadable Content For Pinball X2

The new downloadable content of Plants vs Zombies has a glitch after the content is downloaded and when you go try to play the content it says,"UNABLE TO LOAD CONTENT AT THIS TIME"all the other downloadable content of the Pinball X2 are able to be played
but just not the "PLANTS VS ZOMBIES"....PLEASE FIX

 

Gardens and Graveyards CRRRRRAAAZY!! Unbalanced

I know the Zombies will win. Guess what, though? You get MORE money if you LOSE on the plant team, and WIN on the zombie team! at least near 10,000 coins each round!

 

Can I reply if I think this is a form of cheating? Well I will anyway. Please don't turn this game into who can hack-win the best... if you want this go play COD. If we want this game to last we wouldn't follow this instructions above.

 

That's fair. I understand your point, and while it is cheating a little (It's not like you're immune to damage, others can still kill you easily) it does kinda break Team Vanquish/Gardens & Graveyards. I also didn't know that COD had stuff like cheating,
but I can't play it yet because I listen to ESRB ratings. Is it fair to say that this is a kids version of COD, and that cheating can be allowed because some kids can't play COD? In addition, this glitch is VERY hard to pull off. The game itself has to have
a few open slots, and the other team has to have more people. Combine that with you mashing A repeatedly in a fast manner and you can (Possibly, like a 50/50 chance) pull it off.

 

Tell that to all the other gamers in the world. I'm sure you'll lose a few arguments.

 

I think I should mention for those against me posting this that if EA ever decides to test the game (Even though they don't really test their games that much, they are meant to glitch, because it's EA) and see how it's doing, that a bunch of people learning
and using it can help GET RID OF IT. I've noticed a lot of "This glitch is ridiculous" that usually goes with either logic or offensiveness. That can stop. I am a person who uses the rule "Treat others the way you want to be treated" in a term that if you
are mean or rash to me, I am the same way. And yes, it may soon be patched (I hope) if people learn it or E-mail it or TELL it to EA. Get this: It's at the top of this page.

 

I appreciate your candor Rental. And I agree with on most things. Exploits are exploits. But just because you can do something (no matter how difficult it might be to pull off) doesn't mean you should do something. And you are probably right EA won't do
anything about it. I just fear this game will be ruined by this type of cheating. It's a fun game and probably the best decision EA made since dumping Tiger Woods (jokes).

 

Don't really care about this glitch, no too big of a deal. I don't play as much as I use to but I've only came across this 3 times and normally they don't even stay the whole match (thankfully because I seem to lag real bad when they're on my team).

I thought it was pretty funny one time. It was a Sunflower on the zombie team and everyone was trying to shoot it while the player did the Floating Meditation gesture lol. Looked pretty awesome and I got a good laugh ;-)

 

Good to hear! I am glad nobody is too mad at me for telling this glitch (I mean, COME ON, It's EA, what did you expect, a perfect game with no micro-transactions and LOGIC*?) to the forum-roaming people. In addition, I am glad to hear tCruzin4lyfe's experience
with it. Now, it also comes as a warning - If you do the glitch, it may lag your 360/ONE to a certain extent. When I do this glitch (If all the factors are there and if I need to get revenge or something) I stand around my team for a while, letting them experiment
by shooting or using abilities on me. I then go to the field, killing "fellow" Plants and Zombies with my deceiving looks and weaponry.

*They called a cannon that shot explosive Wall-nuts a Tall-nut cannon, The iron maiden is considered a Wall-nut plant food ability and is also considered a Tall-nut, They made up a few potted plants such as the Fire Pea Cannon, They called the Gatling Pea-esque
ability the Pea Gatling, Peashooters can shoot chili beans and speed up at will, Plants can plant lesser forms of their kind, Chompers can plant Spikeweed, Cacti can plant Potato Mines and use Garlic to fly and shoot others and EVEN launch corn, Cob Cannons
are called Corn Mortars, ETC.

 

NOTE: They have just now made it much harder to perform and/or patched this glitch. You can no longer hold the switch teams button for a message in rapid succession, you have a time limit between messages. This dosen't mean you can't pull it off, it means
it's much harder to perform.

(And If you haven't seen a flash of the other team's menu) There is a large chance you will be the character your cursor was on (When you were on the team you wanted to leave) on the opposite team. (The switch may not go through. You have been informed.)

Coconut cannons shoot Wallnuts that we call Tallnuts, Flax cannons exist, The pots you plant things in aren't counted as a plant themselves (Like in the original PvZ), Small explosive Corn Missiles are just like Cherry Bombs, The Zombies already have all
of the brains (somehow) and simply want control of the area (Rendering Zomboss's speech to you at the beginning of Gardens & Graveyards pointless), Some plants have evolved more than others, Some potted plants are just borderline made up, Cob Cannons are Corn
Mortars, Evolved plants can use abilities and simply put plant lesser of their kind into the ground or pots, There is no rhyme or reason for Garden Ops AT ALL, Cacti can take out either an Artichoke or Garlic half it's size and FLY it around, shooting and
firing Corn, Engineers can take out either a head half it's size or a head 2/3 of his size and fly THAT around, Peashooters can speed up at will and deploy chili beans, Chomp town has modern day buildings, but also a statue of Crazy Dave riding a Chomper,
Slenderman was a nice Easter Egg but he really dosen't belong in a game where everything is either undead or plant-life (And have weapons), ETC.
