    I’ve already started the account recovery process and my account is locked in the meantime. My concern is what the thief can do with the locked account. He sent me a screenshot of someone requesting to buy my account, so I don’t know whether or not he could unlock it.

    I understand and am very sorry for this situation you are going through, if the account is already blocked the person who stole it from you cannot do anything. I am glad to know that you are already in the process of recovering the account, there is a recovery form in case you don't know which you can fill out and try to recover it by that means.
