So I have had Fallout 4 for a while now, and have even completed it multiple times, but for whatever reason, it now won't let me play, giving me the message "The person who bought this needs to sign in". I am using the account that I have used for all of
my playthroughs, I am logged in to xbox live, and I have tried all of the suggestions I have found (logging out and back in, hard resetting xbox, refreshing dashboard, etc.) Can someone please help?

This was likely due to a service alert that was up effecting the ability to play downloaded games and apps. You should be able to use them now that the alert has lifted. If you continue to have this problem please post back.

Hello, today when I got home I went to play on my Xbox One but for some reason every single game I have installed from the store kept closing immediately and giving me the message "The person who bought this needs to sign in." I am signed in on the account
that bought the game on the same Xbox that I bought and installed the game on. I am not using a different account or Xbox. I have tried signing out and signing in, restarting the console, making the Xbox my home Xbox, reinstalling the games, and everything.
Please help this is driving me crazy I can't play any of my games that I have bought and installed from the store.

Problem should be fixed now.. There were some problems with the xbox services..

Do you share your account with anyone? If this error appears to require permission or buy the game occurs because of a failure to communicate with the server. When a NAT is restricted or moderate occurs a lot.

Hi when you downloaded the game did you install it on an external memory drive?

This means that if you're not using the account that owns the content you want to access, it's not possible to play the game unless you verify your identity, or you purchase the game on the account you want to use.

Not only that, but please note that having the profile registered on the console is not enough to let you play the game.
So, if you never enabled Home Xbox on the lost account and even if the feature is enabled, but you can't verify your identity, it's not possible to proceed.

However, could I know if you tried recovering the account?
