"The person who bought the game needs to sign in" I've Tried Everything.

I couldn't play any of my games earlier because it said that i was offline and had to be online to play the game. so i went to my home xbox and set it for my account but as soon as i did that i said "The person who bought the game needs to sign in" and i've
tried not setting it as my home xbox and ive tried hard reseting and signing out and back in but i hasn't worked someone please help.

This was likely due to a service alert that was up effecting the ability to play downloaded games and apps. You should be able to use them now that the alert has lifted. If you continue to have this problem please post back.

Hello, today when I got home I went to play on my Xbox One but for some reason every single game I have installed from the store kept closing immediately and giving me the message "The person who bought this needs to sign in." I am signed in on the account
that bought the game on the same Xbox that I bought and installed the game on. I am not using a different account or Xbox. I have tried signing out and signing in, restarting the console, making the Xbox my home Xbox, reinstalling the games, and everything.
Please help this is driving me crazy I can't play any of my games that I have bought and installed from the store.

there was a service alert earlier regarding this issue, so that probably was the cause of the issue you were experiencing.

Setting your console as Home during such service alert will not fix the issue, since it can't connect to Live regarding it properly.

When the console is indeed set as Home (when Live is working) then setting your console as Offline should result in you being able to play the games.
