The Perma-Ban situation on Xbox

I am one of what seems like thousands of players who have been recently Perma-banned on Xbox for a 1st time violation of code conduct. After a couple days of back and forth and being looped on there site and finding that this is a glitch with Microsoft Enforcement and that most permanent bans are likely temporary.in nature. Then to worsen the situation there is no way to create a case to defend yourself because of yet a second glitch where your ban or suspended information doesn’t show up on Enforcement page and your still showing to be a perfect record player. So your stuck, frustrated, mad, sad, depressed and in some cases scared. I am sure I’m not alone in thinking that Microsoft should reinstate all 1st time offenders accounts immediately regardless of glitches just for the sheer stress, anxiety and lack of customer service they are putting onto good people. It only right considering most if not all of us have hundreds if not thousands of hours and dollars invested in their accounts with games and in game products. Please Microsoft help us here!

Same thing happened to me. Took a shower and came back I was Permanently ban for no reason. Tried talking to agents online but they are so useless… they are telling me [mod removed] I already know. I just hope they fix this cause I need my account back. My main account. They said late February it was gonna be “fixed” but idk.. hopefully we get back on our accounts boys/girls ):

Yep, I have been banned since 1/14 and still do not know why. I almost felsl they have been hacked or some other major issue has happened. I ask for eta as of when the issue will be resolved and they do not have one. They have terible customer service and took me 2 days to find this form. My favorite part, there is no one you can contact. And this is why there are so many class action lawsuits.

Enforcement has never been handled by support,it's alway been handled by a dedicated enforcement team.

They did used to have their own section on the forums where you could appeal a ban,find out what is was for etc. but due to privacy issues & the abuse they sometimes got it went to the enforcement site a few years ago.

They do need to pull their finger out & sort out all these recent issues or update people affected by this at the very least.

I suppose I was misinformed on the twitch forums. But you must agree the customer service has gotten much worse in recent years even before Covid. . It used to be so good. And I agree they need to do something to fix this because it’s a serious situation affecting a large percentage of players. Sadly I know my nephew said something he shouldn’t have but this is like extra punishment being in the dark like this with no information or answers.

In the old days it WAS handled by support staff. From what I’m told. And the customer service was fantastic back then if you had any issues on with anything they would do a thorough investigation into it and fix it immediately. It’s just terrible now. Our only recourse is to com on here and vent until the moderator locks the thread.
