    The party chat won't work on my Xbox One X


    I recently got a Xbox One X and ever since day one, it has had some problems. Most of them were problems that were eventually fixed but one of them that I can't seem to fix is the one where I can't start nor join a party. The button for starting a party
    is usually grey and I can't use it and even if the button works it always replies,"Party encountered an error." If I try to join a party from getting an invite, it does nothing. I have an original Xbox One that my older brother uses and he can talk to his
    friends, so the internet connection isn't a problem. I've tried resetting the router or checking the multiplayer internet connection and it always says it's fine and I have Xbox Live Gold so I don't know why I can't go into parties. I've rebooted the thing
    almost 20 times now and it does nothing. Can someone help?

    You can try also to
    Power Cycle     your console and see if the issue keeps on.

    I'm not totally sure of my router can support two consoles with an Open NAT but I have tried everything while the other console is off and I have my internet working fine on other consoles like the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch while my other Xbox One is
    online as well. I have followed what your NAT link said and I tried it again but it still won't work, I think I just might return my Xbox One X for a new one.

    How many devices connect to your network hardware?

    Are they all WiFi?

    Have you tried using wired ethernet connection for the XB1X?

    You may be getting WiFi signal interference.
