    The Outfit PAL-50 & 60


    I just got my copy of The Outfit today in the post. I turned it on for the first time and a got a message saying " The game does not support PAL-50 Please change your display setting to PAL-60 " but, when i go to display settings the screen format option
    is greyed out. Is there anyway of changing it ? Im using a hdmi cable with a 32" Samsung LED series 4 4500 class TV.

    Yeh, this is the only game i've had this issue with. I'm running it on the standard component cable now but it's practically impossible to tell what the text says. Can't even select the resolution.

    Also means i can't have my surround sound as i use a HDMI cable and a Xbox splitter to get the optical cable into my amp. Really stupid issue to be having, i know it's an old game but it is a classic and it is available to download.

    This is a known bug with this game, unfortunately, the only way to fix is is with a composite or component cable. It only has to be done once, as long your console is not re-set to defaults, you shouldn't have any issues using your HDMI cable later with
    this game.



    It also effects a couple of other early Xbox 360 titles.

    HI, yes you have to plug in one of these
    www.thegamebooth.co.uk/.../A.JPG     into your TV and xbox 360 (unplug hdmi first) turn the xbox 360 on, then change the display settings on your xbox 360, then turn the xbox off, remove the cable, and reconnect the hdmi, you should now be able to play the
    game.

    it shows only two settings- PAL 50 or PAL 60 - and it's set to PAL 60.

    help with hooking up xbox 360 to acer c112 projector

    I can't manually select what PAL/NTSC Signal to receive on the projector...it must detect the following signals that it can handle:

    NTSC 60

    PAL 50

    PAL-M 60

    PAL-N 50

    PAL-60 60

    NTSC4.43 60

    itself... but it just does not like the PAL-60 from the Xbox 360?! (I thought PAL-60 was PAL-60 on every device?)

    I've spoke to a guy from acer on there UK support site, and he can't help me, and suggested I let the "community" at Acer help me. My last hope is trying the HDMI to composite converter when It arrives and see if that works.

    Unless I can find a definitive list of PAL-50 Xbox 360 games?? (anyone help on that front?)
