The Outer Worlds wont launch on One X

I have this game installed through game pass, and have successfully played for many hours. All of a sudden it will not launch from the dashboard. No error code, when you hit the icon it comes up with the splash screen then goes back to the dashboard.
It acts the way games tend to when you need to update it, but no update is showing up. Other Gamepass games load just fine, and I have force closed the game, rebooted the console several times, and nothing

Thanks for the reply. I ended up having to uninstall and redownload. Not ideal, but so far so good!

I heard some reports of this kind with this game and the new COD, try clearing the cache, if it still persists try uninstalling and installing again. Good luck!

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get this game to work the way that it's supposed to. I can totally see how this could be disheartening. I suggest trying the steps outlined in our support guide we call the Xbox
One Game Freeze Solution as it's set up specifically for problems like this.

When you get the chance, give those steps a shot and let us know if that positively affected the situation.

This seems to be a general issue with that game for pc. Just report this issue from xbox app and wait for a solution
