    The Outer Worlds on game pass for PC main menu/loading bugs


    Having recently downloaded The Outer Worlds through game pass, I played the first handful of hours over a couple of sessions with no start up issues. Since then, it takes several minutes for the game to launch and close. When the game does launch and I get
    to the title screen, I can "press any key", however doing so does not bring up any of the main menu options, leaving me with just the logo and the Unreliable in the background.

    I believe the only change between my first couple of play sessions and the beginning of the problem was an automatic OS update, which seems like a possible culprit, but if anyone has been experiencing similar issues or has any advice it would be very appreciated.

    Having the same issue as the user above. Reinstalling does not help. Heard on reddit a work around is to revoke permissions and play the game without connecting to your Microsoft account but this disables the use of my cloud saves. Hoping for a more reasonable
    resolution.

    Yes the beta app still has issues and you can report them directly. Have you tried to delete and download the game again?

    For what it's worth I had the same issue, and rolling back a recent Windows update seemed to fix it immediately.
