    The Outer Worlds install error on pc 0x87e0000f


    Hi!

    As the title states I've got issues trying to install The Outer Worlds on my pc.

    The game installation/download stops at 15% and says error 0x87e0000f.
    I've attempted to reset and repair microsoft store, gaming services and the xbox app and nothing seems to work.

    I have successfully installed Total War Warhammer 3 two days ago aswell as also installed Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition after the error with The Outer Worlds occurred.

    What can I do to make this game work to download?

    I tried all the possible solutions, nothing worked. The only thing which eventually worked for me was VPN. With VPN I connected to some US server (I am from Europe), restarted downloading and it worked !!! Try this :)

    yes every other game I've tried to install seems to work and yes windows 11 is up to date.

    I did try to install via gamepass on pc but after the WSReset.exe and still getting same error on Microsoft Store at 8.82GB (15%) downloaded

    Are you installing the Outer Worlds off game pass?

    Try to press the Win + R key to open the Run dialog.

    Type cmd and click OK to open Command Prompt.

    In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and hit Enter to execute:

    WSReset.exe

    then install your games via MS store app.

    I tried both, I've got windows 11 if that makes any difference? Everythings up to date anyhow and I tried the powershell thing and it gives me the same error on 15% downloaded The Outer Worlds
