    The outer worlds gotten through gamepass won't launch


    Previously the game worked fine but now whenever I launch the game it takes me to the store page for "Gaming services" I did install this but still every time it takes me to that page when I try to launch it; restart did nothing
    and I don't particularly want to reinstall unless I absolutely have to.

    Hi,

    Try reinstalling Gaming Services.

    To do this you'll need the Windows Poweshell. The quickest way to the Powershell is to
    right click on the Windows Start button and select
    Powershall (Admin) from the list



    · Launch Powershell as an administrator, copy and paste the following command:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers



    · In the same powershell window copy and paste the following command:

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    · Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.

    · Try running the game again.

    This has gotten completely and utterly absurd.

    I did a clean reinstall of windows 10, and yet somehow The Outer Worlds

    STILL. DOES. NOT. LAUNCH.

    I give up.

    Thé Game Outer Worlds will launch Friday. Then you can launch it.
