"The other devices is taking a long time to sync to the cloud" - XBox (BETA) for Windows 10

Hi, I have an issue with the XBox app for Windows 10 while playing games.

It keeps opening a window that looks like this:

"The other devices is taking a long time to sync to the cloud" - XBox (BETA) for Windows 10 [IMG]

Now, that is Italian but it sort of says: "The other devices is taking a long time to sync to the cloud"

And then the 2 buttons are "Sync the latest saved data" and "Retry"

If I press Retry, a progress bar goes to 100% and then the window closes.

The problem is that it keeps opening while I'm playing, for example during a Versus match of the Gears of War 5 Tech Test, and it ain't fun to freeze and get killed because of that "The other devices is taking a long time to sync to the cloud" - XBox (BETA) for Windows 10 :)

I also noticed it causes MASSIVE freeze while playing other games like Mutant Year Zero (opening the menu to save), probably because it tries to sync with the cloud before showing the save files. If I disable the connection to internet, then the game runs smoothly.

How can I solve this problem? Is it possible to disable the cloud sync or at least to avoid these annoying interruption/freezes?

    Thank you!

    :)

    Hello Koku,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Keep in mind that the beta for gears 5 is going to have a few issues while they test everything out. This message has been reported by several users playing the same tech test. However, the message usually doesn't
pop back up after the first time. Have you already tried reinstalling the Beta App, or restarting your pc?

You can also report this issue. For any issues not specifically mentioned in the
Xbox beta app FAQ, please use the built-in feedback tool within the Xbox app to
help us better understand the issue you are facing. Just click on your profile photo and select “Feedback” from the dropdown menu to open Feedback Hub. Feedback Hub enables you to provide feedback about Windows and apps by sharing your suggestions or problems.

Xbox Game Pass on PC : Force Cloud Save Sync

I am also getting the same behavior - 2 PCs running Outer Worlds on xbox beta. Computer-A will find Computer-B's cloud saves, but not vise versa. Computer-B will bring up the 'Gaming UI' pop-up stating "Your other device is taking a long time to sync
to the cloud". Computer-B is also behind PF scene firewall. Is it a port problem?

Your other xbox is taking a long time to sync to the cloud

    Vcize,

I'm assuming both Xbox Ones are on the same network, connected the same way (wifi versus wired), etc.. Have you tried going to Settings, Network, Network Settings, and select Test network connection to see if either Xbox results in an error. Have you power
cycled power Xbox Ones by holding the power button for 10 seconds or until the Xbox One turns off, boot them back up, and see if the issue persists.
They are sync'ed to cloud storage, not local.

I have the same issue but with Minecraft. Home Xbox is hardwired in the living room. Xbox 2 is wireless in the bedroom. Of course, same network and games are online so I know the network connection is good. The "Try Again" option is useless as the sync
either hasn't happened yet or won't happen at all (idk). Both of my Xbox one's are set to Actually turn of after each use (no instant on).
