    The Orange Box has broken lighting via Xbox One Backwards Compatibility


    Hello,

    Lately I've been playing Orange Box on Xbox One though the lighting does not appear correct, I have provided comparison Xbox and PC screenshots of how they should look. Note the black lines in the first pictures, they shouldn't be there.

    I have tried reinstalling the game yet the issue still persists and appears to have existed via backwards compatibility since a 2019 update to the game.

    That's a graphic rendering issue. Try to turn off 4k/HDR and and reduce the display resolution before launching the game. Since the game is a backwards compatible title, the graphics might not match what you have on your current console and that's normal.

    The orange box is indeed backwards compatable. This was confirmed by xbox last month. You have to select get then the price should show.
