i have reported this to xbox but i want to see if someone else can help me. Microsoft has sent me 2 xbox ones because i sent mine away cuz it would not take screen shots or record. so the 2 they have sent me does not do either. i am gettig very ticked off
that i cant do this. can someone help or suggest something

I "think" screen shots are coming in the future. You can record without voice command, you can snap as well without voice.

Sorry you got double consoles that do not work correctly, very odd indeed. First I would make sure you have all your updates on your consoles, as this feature was added after the release of the Xbox. If you've done that please see the link below for
a step by step on how to take screenshots. Also try with Kinect if you have it, like "Xbox Record that" Let is know if that works.

While playing a game double tap the Xbox button on your controller to capture a screenshot and pressing Y to save the screenshot. Or with Kinect plugged into your Xbox One, you can say "Xbox, take a screenshot" to take and save a screenshot.

Ok so the chances that the consoles are all bad is so slim. The only thing I can think of is something profile related. Are you the only one on the console? If not remove all the other profiles. And test. If you're the only one, or removing profiles doesn't
work, make a dummy account on your console, remove your profile, and test with that.

The only other thing I can suggest without calling support again is doing a factory reset, then only signing in with the fake account you created above. Here is the link to reset your Xbox.

Fly, your problem may be that, that game that you are trying to record does not allow you to record or screen shot at that time, Some games are like that sadly especially alpha/betas.

If it happens to every game maybe you should look into it further.

Say "Xbox, Record That" then link to the file on your Skydrive so we can see the distortion you are mentioning.

No that doesn't help at all, are you a bot? Can you read the text i posted and the screen shot, i haven't done anything to be banned The picture shows my account is clean and has zero infractions i was banned in error, saying it cannot be appealed when my record is clean does nothing to help the issue, if you dont have the ability to look into the issue these kinds of comments don't help me. In the screen shot you can see i have never had a suspension on record there is no reason for my account to be banned. No one is even telling me why it was done.
