The old "try to make the game better but end up making it worse"

Nah I am happy with the change because like I said my server population is supporting it. At least at peak times. What I don't like is the wave of whiners creating threads every few hours complaining about it...

 

So Respwan tried "skill" matchmaking in normal pub lobbies? Thats a fail, they should have just made a "competetive" playlist with some skill matchmaking. Seem like it would have been easier to add one playlist than to "redo" all the matchmaking, dunno.

 

They added it to 2 playlists. Classic Attrition and Hardpoint and their forums were flooded with threads of players complaining that it had ruined their gaming experience and they had to wait too long for a match or that it was lagging too much. Constructive
criticism is one thing but blatant trolling is another.

 

A week ago I was telling all my BF friends that refuse to play this for what ever reason; at least Titanfall works! Well that's gone out of the window. I now Either get put on a team of players that's never played a shooter before and get spannered by a
really good team full of level 8-9-10 regens or get put on a decent team and play previously mentioned team that's never played a shooter before. Both them scenarios are not much fun. This or I get horrible horrible lag with pilots sponging my bullets and
dropping me in a heartbeat... Full Bars 75mb connection.... So my main argument about this game is now a moot point

 

@Chemist--I dont have TF nor do I visit their forums. I was only stating what I thought would be obvious. Adding a "skill" playlist.

 

Yea I was just telling you what's going on. I agree they need a competitive playlist and that's what they are trying to do.

 

The game is going down hill to quick for a new game. To many key complaints that are usually reserved for games that have been out for years. The game IMO was and will always be heavy reliant on ONLINE INTERNET connection which is not feasible. The game
was and will be doomed and left to be a what if and mediocre game.

 

Since they balanced matchmaking I have had much more fun than before... games are closer, more competitive... have had a lot of games (Attrition) go down to the wire today... at release, matches were almost always a blowout...

 

I would say that as I got better at the game, so did the matches themselves. The games are soooo close except for games with uneven lobbies but even those are worth staying in for the action
