    The Notification Bug


    Hello, I have been dealing a bug/glitch on my Xbox One ever since I downloaded the NXOE on November 2015. This bug has caused all of my notifications to no long send pop-ups for achievements, messages, party invites, and game download messages. Also these
    notification don't even show up in the notification page. I have tried the following suggestions that could have fixed but failed: - Restarting it and also doing a hard restart (holding down the Xbox One on switch for 8-10 seconds) - Removing my profile and
    putting it back on - Removing my profile, restarting the Xbox One, and then putting my profile back on - Clearing the persistent storage in the Blu-Ray in Settings - Removing my profile, clearing the persistent storage, restarting the Xbox One, and then putting
    my profile back on - Checking the notification menu to see that all the notification options are turned on - Turning off and on all the notification options and restarting the Xbox One - Trying both wired and wireless internet connection to see that they are
    both running good It has been months since then and only the messages and game download notification pop-up have been fixed. I know this can be fixed in late February 2016, all the notification started working again. The notification were working smoothly
    until the Xbox One last update on February 19, 2016 which caused the notification to be bugged up again. The notification only when either I restart it (which only for about 1 hour or less) or if I don't play the Xbox One for a week and would stop working
    if I play or use a different application. If anyone has a solution to my problem, please write down, any idea will help. Side Note: No, I haven't tried a factory reset because I read many posts online saying other who tried it when this problem was going says
    that it doesn't work.

    so I have this recent bug on my app where I have one single notification that I can’t see so the app always has a 1 next to my notifications icon. How do I fix this?

    Notification bug

    Hi Illinorr,

    Having a corrupted profile is one of the possible reasons why you're unable to receive any notification to join a game. To help you resolve this concern, I recommend that you follow the steps below:

    Step 1: Sign out your profile from the Xbox app and restart your computer before signing in again.

    Step 2: Check your NAT type. Make sure that your NAT is Open. To do this, you may follow the steps provided on the link below:

    "I can't hear my friends online, or I can't join or host a multiplayer game with my Xbox One"

    Hey there DuffGibbles,

    That's a weird one for sure. Let's have you try to perform a full
    Factory Reset, but make sure to keep your Games & apps. This will refresh the console fully, but you won't need to reinstall any games or apps. You will need to re-sign into any profiles you had on the console again though.
