The newest Scam by Bungie!!!

Anyone else think that Bungie is totally ripping off their customers? They are releasing Destiny again with the last two expansions and a third expansion called the Taken King. Here is why I think it is a scam. Ok you paid for Destiny when it was $60. Then
you had to buy the last two expansion which was around $40. So you just paid $100 for a video game. Now Bungie want's to charge you another $60 so you can play the Taken King Expansion!!!! Ofcourse Bungie is offering playres who purchased the last two expansions
some stupid cosmetic DLC crap which does not make up the fact that players have to shell out another $60 for a game we already own. This also proves in one of my other discussions that DLC is a scam and that they could have fitted these expansions on the disc,
but just wanted to make more money. Wouldn't be so bad if you could just buy the 3rd expansion.

They're charging 60 just for an expansion? Or is it the full game plus the expansion?

 

It's the full game and expansions. So if you never played then it is a good deal. But those of us who have all this are getting *** if you buy it.

What are you talking about? TTK is $40. They have legendary and collector editions that range from $60-$80 for those who are into that. They come with base game, both expansion DLC's, TTK and some side goodies. If you already have the game (plus the expansion
or are at light level 30) you can just buy TTK, it's really not that serious.

 

If you are talking about the Destiny "The Taken King" Collector's edition i don't necessarily believe that is a scam. I believe that is usualy known as the "Ultimate Edition" other games have done. Which has all of the DLC on disc.

However i think the naming it Destiny The Taken King Collector's edition is a bit weird, and slightly misleading. The price doesnt seem as bad considering the content.

I actually own Destiny's Collector's Edition. Known as the Ghost Edition.

 

My Mistake. Even $40 is a rip off for what you get for it. Still makes the game $120. And don't forget there are those out there that can't afford it. Unless you are just using mommy and daddys' money.

 

You don't have any idea how much content is in the DLC so again you're just complaining for the sake of complaining. Also, $40 is not a lot of money lol. The DLC launches in September if someone can't save up that much by the time it releases then they have
bigger issues than worrying about a game.

Actually $40 os a lot of money to certain people. I can afford it if I really wanted it. I know you just get it from mommy.

 

$40 is a lot of cash if you're on a budget, because I can buy a weeks worth of groceries for $40. However, If and when I get a One, I'll have to buy Destiny again anyway, might as well get all the DLC (besides Taken King) that matter

 

$40 for the latest expansion

$60 for Destiny + all 3 expansions

$80 for just the 3 expansions

TTK is not playable if you dont already have TDB and HOW, so yes this is one giant ripoff. Anyone who supports this asinine DLC practice isn't smart at all.
