The New Xbox Preview Dashboard

I expected nothing but the best, the layout was nice the new snap was nice, but everything hasn't worked the same. I can't stay in a party and if I do I talk in game chat while hearing them in party chat, once I try to leave an app I cant, once I do get
out of the app my xbox freezes, turns itself off or anything else to go wrong. I want to opt out of the new update but if it means I have to re-download all of my apps and games I'm done with xbox....

i jus seen the preview on xbox dashboard...did they add new chracters? im not sure but seems like it...seems like theres a new story too

Unable to access Preview Program forums

My Xbox One recently was updated with the New Xbox One Experience dashboard as part of the preview and I have since lost access to the Xbox Preview Dashboard app as it says "This app is for the Xbox Preview Program members only." I am also unable to access
the preview program forums on the Xbox website as it reports back "Group not found".

Hi,

So you say you're "done with xbox" based on a preview update which you opted-in to receiving?

If you're having problems with the dashboard, or need support with the new dashboard, you can post in the preview program private forums area to get assistance with your issues. You can even remove the update.

The fastest way to gain access to the preview forums is by posting here forums.xbox.com/.../4268.aspx

And state that you're a member of the preview program and would like to get access to the preview forums.

When you signed up for the NXOE update you were told to accept the terms which stated that it's pre-release software and bugs are present.

As for opting out of the NXOE update, you can do that and it does mean having to download the content again which is saved on your local hard drive unless you move it all to an external drive.

Q: Can I opt-out of the New Xbox One Experience Preview?

A: Yes. During the Preview period, there are two ways you can opt-out of receiving New Xbox One Experience Preview updates.

Prior to receiving the New Xbox One Experience Update Preview, take no action – we’ll default you to remaining on the Existing Xbox One Experience preview. You’ll still get the benefits of Preview, like Backward Compatibility, but you’ll stay on the current
Xbox One update that’s available to the public. Later, just before the general release of the New Xbox One Experience, we’ll update your console to the latest Preview build, so you’ll still get it a little early.

In the Registration area of the Xbox Preview Dashboard, you can choose Remove to remove your console from the program entirely. Your console’s removal will be processed within 72 hours.

If you'd like to remain a part of the Preview program and return to the original Xbox One experience, open the Registration area of the Xbox Preview Dashboard, select 'Change' and then select 'Preview - Original Xbox One Experience'. Like the Remove option
above, your console will take a factory reset as part of this change.

NOTE: If you choose this option after taking the New Xbox One Experience Preview update, your console will go back to the current general release of the Xbox One software, but this will restore factory defaults on your console, and erase all
locally stored accounts, apps, games, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. We encourage all users to download/copy your favorite games to External Hard disks to ensure a quick recovery option in the event of data loss from a removal.

I was told by an XBox employee on the phone that this was the place to go to opt out of the XB1 preview dashboard. I don't want advice on a fix or a pitch. I simply want out of the preview program. I'm willing to reset to factory settings and start all over,
I don't have time for the preview dashboard problems.

I too have had enough of the problems with the preview dashboard i've opted out and factory reset my console but i still have the updates dashboard and all the same problems can anyone please tell me if it is possible to fully remove it

Are you a preview member? Do you have the new dashboard? Every one I know who has this problem is a preview member with the new dashboard.

You will need to first post and the preview forums.

Next you need to download the preview dashboard app which was sent to all of us via an Xbox message....use this app to remove the console from the preview program.

If you never downloaded the preview dashboard app you will also need to create one post not to asking for a new token to download the preview dashboard app and then use that app to remove the console from the preview program.

There was a dashboard preview recently for the Xbox 360 and the new update just has gone live to everyone. It has been in preview for several months.

I want to register for the Dashboard Preview Program, but I haven't the option to register on my Xbox 360 console. Can you please register my console for the Dashboard Preview Programm ? Or who I could register for it ? Please help me, because I like to

Are you on the normal dashboard or are you in the Preview Program on the New Xbox One Experience dashboard?

If you're on the normal dashboard, what prompted the green loading screen? (Did you have a console update or is this a new console)?
