The New Xbox One Experience comes Nov. 12th

It was just announced by Phil Spencer himself during the Halo 5 LIVE stream, so ready or not, everyone, here it comes!

You can still cue it up & play it on the xbox one when backwards compatibility is released on Nov 12th.

360 gwg will be playable on the xbox one as from the 12th

 

Will Xbox 360 SkyGo App be available on Xbox One with backward compatibility ?

With backward compatibility arriving on the 12th Nov, will the Xbox360 SkyGo be available to UK Xbox One users ?

 

They. got 2 weeks. to. fix it.....Sometimes,they. should wait,and. announce. anything when it's. really. ready....Let's. hope. they got. a. secret plan....

 

I don't know - the last update I received just the other day fixed a LOT of issues that I had, so I don't think it'll be as bad as you might think, especially since it might be entirely possible that those of us in the preview program are more than likely
running an outdated version of the NXE.

 

GG unless it did it in standby there was another update for it that came out yesterday as well.

 

I like that it's early November and not late November and that's really the only feeling I have towards this, haha.

 

I figured FullHornet, but I wasn't sure if it was yesterday or not, so I erred on the side of caution and just said "the other day" instead, which is technically still true.

 

Well, I am not really concerned. They have it working pretty well. I did have a small issue with my dlc for games not showing up. It would show installed when checking the store, etc. but the games would tell me that I needed to install it. So there
is that. Overall though they are close and should have any issues fully ready by then. Nov. 12 is a good distance out for that stuff. And I am sure that before the first people outside MS have an update they have tested it some and are already on their
way to fixing other issues.

I know with Windows 10 they went from looking like they needed a lot more time to updating to a much more "ready" update that made it obvious they were ready to launch. Couple of close together updates and the system was obviously ready. I expect the same
with some odd issues popping up that they could not foresee (I am positive this will happen).

 

I tested some of the several of the changes to the 260 dashboard years ago, including the stuff necessary for the first Kinect functionality (and the Kinect itself). Kind of fell off the MS testing radar years ago, as things "just worked" for me and my wife/kids
so - I will say that those early days were sometimes kind of rough around the edges. I have finally jumped into the "current gen" consoles with the Xbox One and had no idea the interface was about to change - that said, I presume MS learned from the early
days and tests things more widely and for a longer period of time to wring out more bugs.

The only part that really bothers me about it, though, is it's coming 2 days after Fallout 4 launches, which means I'm gonna have to deal with any installation weirdness and earning a new interface right as I'm wanting to just play the one game that made
me finally leave my trusty 360.

 

Great news! Once it is released to public will it replace the existing OS or be an update to existing. So if you reset to factory settings windows 10 will be the version it will revert to?

 

I'm more interested in learning which games will be on the bc list on day one since it comes out the same day as the nxe.

To be honest I can't say I'm really excited. End of the day all I use my console for is playing games and I can do that now. If this improves things though, makes it faster etc then I'm happy but again I can't say I'm excited for it.

Concerned? I guess a little. Heard a lot of people in the preview reporting issues but at the same time this is what a preview is for, iron out the bugs etc but always a chance a few slip through.
