The new store is garbage

Is anyone else having problems with the store since they released the "merged store" update? I'm a preview user and I can honestly say that it is worlds better than when they first introduced it to the preview program. However, there is still one major flaw
I'm having, and I can't fathom how it got past QA. Whenever I try to view a trailer for a game in the store, I get "Error: Video could not be decoded." I've tried quitting the store, restarting my Xbox, and all that jazz, but trying to watch a trailer always
pulls this error. Has anyone else had this issue an been able to fix it?

New D-Pad is Garbage!

I know the controller is real garbage,highly over priced GARBAGE! $29.99 is what it should be instead of $59.99, Mine has only lasted just over a year, its all baged out already, the actions are loose, everytime I play skyrim or any game for that matter
I have to stop my player from auto moving, by holding back on the Left stick, anyways its garbage, an IF I dont see any Improvement in the next generation console? Im going to GO Playstation 4 thier controllers are only $20

 

That doesn't happen to me. It seems okay and it's much better now.

 

The new store works fine for me also.

I quite like the new store, found it a good addition to be able to see the prices without having to click on the games anymore

 

The store is definitely still total garbage. I also now can't play any game trailers for the same reason. Also you can't pin games to home screen anymore. So that's two new problems plus the still existing major one of it being really really slow to load
anything, it can literally take 5 seconds per page in the store. There are also numerous problems with how things ar displayed, I don't want to scroll though 10 pages of DOA5LR bikini skins for female characters and *** songs for a music game for people who
want to pretend they can play an instrument, just to get to the worthwhile new dlc.

Really? I just went and pinned a game to the home screen on mine. Just now to test and it works.

Overall, my system is pretty fast and responsive. No real issues. Took about 10 seconds to go to the store, search titanfall 2, and then get the download started for the new test. I have to say I have been really lucky with Xbox lately apparently.

 

I'm finding the new store INCREDIBLY slow compared with the old one. I have fast internet. Why wait 5 minutes for any screenshot to load????

HATE IT!!!!!

 

I'm also find it very slow to load things up, if I go into the game store then the preview images will take ages to load up.

 

The only time I've noticed issues with the Xbox Store was a few weeks back but that was down to my own broadband BT who for a day or so we're having some sort of DNS issue over most of UK

Other than that I've never had issues. Always loads up fine/quick and where I buy my games digitally I I use it often

 

Well it used to be when a game was released there would be a new item on the store.

However with most new full game release spawning many alternate versions of itself...

"Battlefield 1: Standard Edition".

"Battlefield 1: Gold Edition".

"Battlefield 1: Deluxe Edition"

"Battlefield 1: Mustard Gas Edition"

"Battlefield 1: Mustard Sandwich Edition"

"Battlefield 1: Golden Deluxe Edition"...

Well it's no wonder the store is having issues when you ask to see stuff.

It's as confused as the rest of us.

(Queue confused people rushing to post that there's nothing confusing about it - these people are so confused... they don't even realise they're confused).

You click on whatever version, read the description, what content it has, price etc then make your choice. Simple enough.
