    The new NXOE updates will not turn my TV off when I turn the Xbox off.


    I've reconfigured it countless times. The only time my TV will turn off is when I restart my console. Just wanted people to know so this can get resolved.

    My tv turns off when I turn on my xbox

    I just got a new TV in my room and I plugged my Xbox up to it and turned it on and the TV turns off. I have tried all the inputs and it's the same. It's like my TV does not like my Xbox. It's a Samsung TV it's not old or new it's a good TV. When I watch
    TV or cable it's fine no problem it doesn't turn off at all. It's only when I turn on my Xbox it turns on and off on whatever input it's plugged into.

    Turn on TV via Xbox

    After the most recent update, my Xbox will not turn on/off my TV. Everything else works fine.

    I tried resetting my TV in the Xbox Settings. Xbox says it automatically identified my TV and remote code, but nothing happens when I turn the xbox one on or off

    Update on the issue: Although I still cannot get this to work, a new issue has been discovered: If i say "Xbox Turn off" and power down that way and then power the xbox on, my TV will get "No Signal" unless until I turn my TV off, and turn it back on again...This
    issue is reproducible over and over again...

    Update: I tried the 4K UHD Blu-Ray version of the Martian (brand new), and the same problem occurred. Stuttering and dropped frames with HDR enabled on the XBox, and flawless playing with HDR turned off. Once again, auto brightness was turned off, motion
    smoothing features turned off, my Vizio P55-C1 definitely supports HDR10 (it's getting an HDR signal from the XBox when I have HDR turned on) and firmware updates for the TV are automatic.

    i find with mine when i switch inputs i need to turn my tv off then on for it to pick it up.
