The new division load-outs and weapons

I am really annoyed by the changes made 3 days ago. Since then I have seen the really good players getting better and the average player getting poorer. Just check the wipe outs that are happening in Domination!

The biggest change (to me) was the loss of the quick fuse for sticky grenades for some divisions. They were a great equalizer that particularly helped the less than skilled player. The grenades also have been downgraded in strength - or the resistance
to explosions for some divisions has been increased. I have seen players have to have 3 grenades thrown at them before they were taken out and it is not an accuracy issue.

The game was fine as it was and I don't see it really encouraging the use of all divisions as suggested when the change was made.

For me it has take a lot of the fun out of the game for me - to the point that I am considering quitting altogether.

the changes have definitely impacted how many and who plays the game now, i don't see myself getting any more or less kills from before they said they'd update it to allow more action. the games till take an average of 4 minutes, i guess they just did this
because certain people would use an OP class very shadily, like those people who put on incendiary shells on a one shot shotgun and then hide in a small room with 4 others, the loss of some basic training stuff is stupid but i like the fact that attachments
that were division specific aren't, so its now a somewhat level playing field. The whole unlimited sprint stuff changes everything, i find the best way to get kills is a good sub machine gun with rapid fire, steady aim and possibly FMJ or suppressor in a class
that uses something like hustler, you don't even need to aim with this is some cases. I like the feedback you gave though, have hopefully we can start to have fun with this cod again.

Thanks for the info,(hello again Ruthless)I hoped there would be a good reason. I need to drop some weapons then.......... erm how? I'm not near my console now so I can't investigate, I assume there is a 'drop' item option?

Exactly. The less weight you carry around the more you can use your powers, so it depends on what style of play you favour and what class you're running as. For example, an Adept usually wants to run with as little weight as possible to maximise power usage,
whilst a Krogan soldier, who can carry more for obvious reasons, might want to load up on heavy gear, should that appeal to you.
