    the new dashboard started messing with my Xbox a few days ago


    The new dashboard started messing with my Xbox today. It started with the controller becoming unresponsive while I try to load anything. The screen will go black and will stay that way for a few minutes before it says try again(if that message even loads).
    On top of those issues, now it seems my Xbox no longer accepts my internet. Saying that my internet security isn't compatible with Xbox. Also Xbox won't load home screen after power on. If it does, nothing works. Keep getting the "It's taking too long" message.
    Pressing the close button just leaves me with a black screen untill the message reappears. I'm posting this here because when I try to report the problem, it's the same story. Black screen, unresponsive controller, takes to long message, close or report, repeat.

  3. profile keeps auto-signing out

    So a few days ago I was messing with account and profile settings and it started auto-signing my profile out every time I started up a game or exited out of a game. Since then I changed all the settings back to what I'm pretty sure they were and its still
    doing this. Can some1 please help? This is starting to get extremely annoying.

    Sorry to hear of the problems you are having.

    Could I please ask that you post this in the private Xbox Preview Program forums so that the feedback can go back to the relevant team so they can work on an update to fix any issues. You can find that forum here:forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx.

    Also remember that the Xbox Preview Program is designed to beta test future dashboard updates, so there are going to be bugs which need to be ironed out before release.

    To fix these problems, I recommend doing a power cycle on your console. To do this, please follow the instructions on this page: support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console

    I am logged into the account for my gamertag that has the preview program. I just checked and it still will not let me in the group.....

    Im having this exact problem. Slow system and response from controller, doesn't connect to the internet, even when it says everything is good. I cant use the console at all.

    I hope so too, yesterday it worked while i watched Netflix, but tonight it wont connect at all after restarting it multiple times. Is there no way of removing the update?

    there is but i cant even load the app to remove it from my console...you can search and find it..my console wont do anything but time out and get the "Its taking too long...." message

    I'm having a lot of problems too, my Xbox is connected to the internet but won't run any games or apps online. I do diagnostic and it says everything is fine. If I do eventually manage to load a game the Xbox crashes and turns itself off. I can't do anything
    now as it won't respond to the controller.
