    The Network Location cannot be reached


    Every time I try and log onto the Xbox App on my laptop, it tells me the network location cannot be reached. And I therefore cannot log on to the account.

    What can I do? What more information would you require?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Xbox one restarts when entering wi-fi password

    Please help! I see others are having the same problem. Nothing works to correct this so far. And I cannot hook up a wired network cable due to the location. I have 3 other xbox ones on same network that are working fine.

    Any help Microsoft?

    Yes, location is enabled. Theres no network problems in the area and other online apps work etc..

    Xbox One Smartglass cannot locate Console on network

    OK, so it sounds like you've tried most suggestions available.

    There are two more I can think of which might help:

    Firstly, go to Settings/Power&Startup and change the console's power settings from Instant On to Energy Saving (or reverse) and reboot it. See if that makes a difference.

    Are you using a wired or wireless connection from the console? If wired, could you unplug it and try going wireless? Or if wireless and you have an ethernet cable you could use, try that. Again, see if that makes a difference.

    If at all possible, can you try the connection from your phone using cellular data? WiFi is the preferred connection method, but at least if this works we can see that the problem lies in the home network somewhere.

    There's also one other thing which I ignored because I assumed had been done, but which I now do not see mentioned.

    In the SmartGlass app, can you press the console icon in the upper right? It's a rectangle resembling the console. Press that and it should show you all consoles on your network. If yours is shown, select it (and maybe choose 'connect automatically') and
    hit connect.

    Let us know how this goes. Can you see the console there, or does it tell you it cannot find anything?
