the Minecraft Marketplace does not like me

Sorry to hear about that, however, you may try this:

Navigate to Minecraft > Settings > Storage

Press the Clear Marketplace Cache button at the top

Exit Minecraft and restart your device

Let me know.

It occured to me not long ago that Microsoft's apprehension to declare Games for Windows Live officially done... coincided with the acquisition of Mojang/Minecraft. It doesn't take much imagination to see the applications... y'know... a unifying client across
platforms, a marketplace for content across platforms etc

Minecraft could be the thing to bring Xbox One, PC, and mobile platforms together across the Live service -- which would encompass GfWL. Not in the near future... but it does seem likely IMO. There've been hints of it.

As for Tinker. If it's free... I'm game. I like free stuff. =)
