I just handed my Xbox one to UPS today. It had the static noise issue. I was quite shocked to see that UPS plannes delivery to the repair center 18/9 Thursday. That is almost 1 week for the delivery alone The Microsoft Console Repair Scam - the "Product shipped to customer" status that ... :( I live in Sweden and the repair is in Czheck Republic
but it should not take nearly a week to transport. I guess the number 2-3 weeks is quite accurate in this case.

Sad since I had only got my box for one week. Better to send it in now before release of Fifa 15 at least but now when I saw the delivery time my hope for playing Fifa 15 on realease day is diminished.

By this comment I hope for improvement in the service!

    Best Regards Henrik.

I'm in the same boat, status changed to "product shipped to customer" about a week ago or more, and I still haven't gotten an update about it. All that happens when I click the tracking number is it tells me, "not found" on the FedEx website. I get the same
thing as you guys when I try to talk to the support line, nothing but scripted talk and no idea as to the actual location of my Xbox one. The only thing that they tell me is to wait a couple of days and to call back. I have done this a number of times and
keep getting the same thing, "wait a couple of days and call back". I wish I could just get a straight answer as to if my console has actually been shipped or not, and if not, why hasn't it yet. Hopefully enough people will complain and then they will have
no choice but to do something about it.

In my last contact with support the lady told me that the reason that the FedEx site doesn't show the updated tracking info is because it's a reserve tracking number that FedEx gives Microsoft in advance. Microsoft then assigns each repair order a tracking
number before it's entered into FedEx system. Once a number of repairs are deemed completed (a certain quantity) then Microsoft calls FedEx for pickup.Once FedEx receives the consoles they enter them into the system.

The Microsoft Console Repair Scam - the "Product shipped to customer" status that ...

"Product shipped to customer" is a farce. It's never sent to FedEx. When it changes to "Product in transit to customer" THEN and only then does it actually mean a FedEx truck pick up the Xbox, was scanned, and left their facility.

After talking to Xbox Support via Twitter, they gave me the exact same runaround and even went as far to ask something as asinine as "Is your info up to date?" Like I would change it to Tokyo just to mess with myself. They do nothing but stall and evade
until it actually gets shipped and then they act like the white knight with stuff like "We did everything we could and went above and beyond to 'find' your package."

I'm just done with Microsoft right now. My X1 was sent out today so who know if I'll get it tomorrow or Monday...

Folks there's a reason this statement is listed on the support site as regards shipping:

How do I track my shipment?

Tracking the shipment from the service center to you: You’ll be notified by email when the serviced product is shipped to you from the service center. The email will include a tracking number. Check the shipment status at the carrier’s website,
or contact the carrier for information.

Note It can take up to seven days for the shipping status to update on the carrier’s website. If you do not see any status changes on your shipment after this time, please contact Xbox Support.

Here's the link for where this can be found:
    http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/repair/packing-and-shipping-faq

This information also applies to the Xbox One. The current standard turnaround time according to the support site is 21 days. So if you're still within that window I wouldn't worry.

Mountain Dew, apparently you have never had to go through this situation. My tracking barely updated late yesterday and says that my Xbox will be delivered Wednesday. THAT IS TWENTY-FOUR DAYS THAT I HAVE WAITED. I don't know if you can count, but according
to me that's three more days than the twenty-one you state is the standard. Not that that matters... the thing that is pissing people off, as well as myself, is the fact that even though they have OUR consoles that WE paid for, they still feel that they have
no reason to give us any information on their whereabouts whatsoever. Also, why do you come on here if your not going to help? All you do is read from a script much like the CSRs at the Xbox support center.

I can count. I can count very well. However, I think this thread is past the point of usefulness if hostility is going to be aimed at the people who try to help and give factual answers.

The Microsoft Console Repair Scam - the "Product shipped to customer" status that means nothing!

@Dr Dreso: Sorry to hear that. Does it at least say "product shipped to customer"? Apparently, the normal wait is 6 days after that update, but it does take longer in some cases. Either way, it takes too long! What's even worse is waiting for it to be repaired
for almost three weeks, when the problem is still there after the repair. What are they doing at the repair centers?! How about testing the console before shipping it... I hope they fix your problem, best of luck!

Well, I'm in the same boat as you all. Only I got the "Your console has shipped" message a week ago, and there's still no Fedex tracking data.

I was one of the unfortunate souls whose Xbox got bricked by a system update ... before I even got to play one disc-based game. So you can imagine I've already got a sour taste in my mouth. Pretty annoyed that I spent $400 3 weeks ago for a system I haven't
    even been able to use.
