    Mastrius9087 I can confirm that the information you've given is fairly accurate. That notification means that FedEx has been notified by MS that the console is ready for them to pick up and ship, and as such the customer is also sent a notification that
    MS has 'shipped' the console...because it is in fact ready for FedEx to pickup and deliver.

    IF FedEx does actually retrieve the console that day then the delivery date should be accurate. If however, for some reason FedEx is unable to pick up the package that day it does change things.

    That's not to say that it's always the case that there's a long delay. However there are sometimes factors that do prevent FedEx from picking up consoles on the same day, which can cause delays in the return.

    rockykramer The difference between the monitor situation and the console situation is that with MS they actually wait to receive the console, inspect it, and if possible try to return your same console to you in a repaired state, especially if that's requested
    by the customer.

    With the monitor situation it's usually a case of cross-shipping. They just ship out a replacement as soon as they know you've shipped yours (if they even wait for that level of verification first).

    In fact with MS you can request an advance ship replacement (in the US) and have a replacement console shipped to you before they even receive your current one.

    The service for that takes about 2-3 days...which matches your timeframe for the monitor replacement.

    I'm having the same problem the estimated delivery was for Friday and now FedEx estimated delivery says N/A so hopefully I get some tracking updates tomorrow, I don't think I'll be playing destiny till Thursday which sucks I should of just got a replacement
    but I wanted my same Xbox back. I Paid 10$ to have it packaged right I wish I would have just paid 5 more for the replacement but oh well...

    They never offered me an advance replacement and when i requested one they said its to late. I got the same issue with my estimated delivery. The date has already gone it was Friday and now estimated says N/A. I have various games that i bought and have
    nothing to play them on. $500 doesn't come easy Micro$oft. Reliability of this console needs to be fixed that way we wouldn't have to be crying about not knowing where our consoles are.

    I was never offered the advance replacement either. The CSR I spoke to on the phone said that was an option (after the fact, they said they were gonna call me back to arrange it but they never did), but when I requested the repair online, the only option
    I was given was whether I wanted express shipping or not and how I wanted to print the label. I picked standard shipping because I didn't want to PAY $11 to fix a BRAND NEW console.

  6. OMG, its like I am reading a post I could have written! I have a "tracking Number" that FedEx says they don't have the package for. Customer service uses cute little phrases like "rest assured" and "worry not" yet I am concerned about my $400 console that
    no one can find. Microsoft is scamming me, I am sure of it!

    I feel a little bit better now. My FedEx tracking number finally updated today. The package has arrived at FedEx and is now scheduled for delivery on Thursday (which is what I predicted was gonna happen in earlier posts). The only thing that worries me now
    is whether the noise is still going to be there on the refurbished/repaired console.

  9. I haven't had to send an Xbox One for repair (and hopefully never will), but back in around 2008 my first 360 red-ringed, so I called the support line and they submitted a repair. They dent out a package so I could send it to them which arrived 2 days later.
    By the time I got my 360 back it was only 10 days after I had initially called them. I was actually very pleasantly surprised, especially because they gave me a three month live code for the inconvenience.

    I live in Australia and maybe thing work a little faster here due to the smaller population and not needing to transport goods as far as they would in the US, but I've always had a good experience with Microsoft support.

    But, having said that, I hope I never have to send another console away for repair.

    @ Shadow walkerOz During the Red Ring era Micro$oft was better at getting you your console. I had two 360s that crapped out and it only took me to weeks from the time i called repair services to get those back to me and they still are working with no problems.
    But now it seems as though Micro$oft is only content with getting our money initially and then giving customers the shoddy end of the stick with the turnaround time to get a console repaired that doesn't last long enough to complete a full game. Not bashing
    Micro$oft or anything but just pointing out the facts.

    Well, I'm in the same boat as you all. Only I got the "Your console has shipped" message a week ago, and there's still no Fedex tracking data.

    I was one of the unfortunate souls whose Xbox got bricked by a system update ... before I even got to play one disc-based game. So you can imagine I've already got a sour taste in my mouth. Pretty annoyed that I spent $400 3 weeks ago for a system I haven't
    even been able to use.

    Got my Xbox One back today. It's still making the noise, and that's WITH Kinect. It's quiet while on the dashboard, but when I tried Forza 5, it's as loud as it was before the repair. Same serial number but the plastic cover is all worn out... Model 1540.
    It's sad. My attorney is getting a hold of Microsoft right now to see how I can get one that works...

    @Dr Dreso: Sorry to hear that. Does it at least say "product shipped to customer"? Apparently, the normal wait is 6 days after that update, but it does take longer in some cases. Either way, it takes too long! What's even worse is waiting for it to be repaired
    for almost three weeks, when the problem is still there after the repair. What are they doing at the repair centers?! How about testing the console before shipping it... I hope they fix your problem, best of luck!

    My console reached today also but i won't be able to test it for about a week because I'm out of state. Good news is that it reached finally, hopefully it works. Sorry to hear that rockykramer but let us know how it turns out with your attorney. If my console
    fails once i get to try it I'll be going to a Ps4.

    I still haven't gotten mine either and it was suppose to be here yesterday...

    Sent it out on the 25th last month.

    Even went to Twitter (Xbox Support) about it and they tried to keep it hush hush and the responses felt like they were being read from a manual depending on what we ask.
