    The Medium


    Have been trying all day to get The Medium to install on PC through the Microsoft Store. The furthest the download gets is 2.33gb out of 24.47gb but will instantly upon reaching this amount, freeze. My download speed disappears although there is no error message, it simply says that it is still downloading. I left it for 1-2 hours but nothing changed so restarted the download a number of times. I have tried a lot of fixes that have been posted but nothing is working, using wsreset.exe command doesn't have any effect and using PowerShell, troubleshooting the app and repairing hasn't fixed anything either. I opened a ticket and was told it was just the server being down however many others have been able to download since with no problem, I don't know what else to do to fix this, I just bought game pass especially to try this out, but so far haven't been able to do anything.

    Spencer said all generations of games will work on the Series S/X and Microsoft Studio games will be released on Game Pass day 1 for both the One and Series S/X. The Medium is not a Microsoft Studios title so the publishers/developers have decided to release
    it for the Series S/X.

    Hi,

    Any other games not working or is it just this one?

    I tried The Medium on Saturday and it worked first time. I'm running the latest Win10 with i7 8700, 16 GB with RTX 2080 and the latest drivers.

    Just like to add, unless your external drive is an SSD, don't bother. This game NEEDS an SSD, it will be unplayable on a mechanical hard drive.

    is your pc up to date with the newest version? If not try updating your pc. Then try launching the game. Hope this helps some-
