    The Medium no physical release??? Seriously?


    When can we expect to be able to buy The Medium on disc? Not gonna download and play games and I am not a big fan of gamepass. I like owning software. So for people who don't like any of the options but purchased a Series X specifically for the reason that has a 4K blu ray drive, there currently is no option to play the first xbox series X exclusive title. I guess the medium is really really exclusive.....

    The MAC address, or the physical medium, has nothing to do with an IP address. Those two are primary used for communication between NICs, being physical or logical, and signaling 1s and 0s over a physical medium.

    If Microsoft seriously wants to move to total digital game downloads..theyll offer digital cheaper than physical disc...if they release the Xbox One and price of digital is the same as physical disc.

    That ought to tell tell you ALOT!

    Because if I have to pay $60.00 for digital or physical...im taking a disc everytime!!!!!

    The MAC address, or the physical medium, has nothing to do with an IP address. Those two are primary used for communication between NICs, being physical or logical, and signaling 1s and 0s over a physical medium.
    Pardon?? We were talking about static IPs... A static IP works by reserving an IP address for a specific device.. The information that the router uses to identify each of these specific devices is its MAC Address... I don't see how you confused this. Thanks.

    Could also be one of those occasions where there's a delay between physical & digital releases, while it's generally the other way around it's not uncommon for a game to launch on one a few days before the other. I know my local store has it in stock
    but it's not really one I'm inclined to check out, though I can see why it might translate well to the gaming medium.

    Spencer said all generations of games will work on the Series S/X and Microsoft Studio games will be released on Game Pass day 1 for both the One and Series S/X. The Medium is not a Microsoft Studios title so the publishers/developers have decided to release
    it for the Series S/X.
