The loot boxes controversy in gaming

I don't think items characters and weps in gear should be in loot boxes but having just cosmetic might be a bit better but only if you can buy the cosmetic items flat outright for a larger amount ect.that is my opinon on the matter.

I never liked it, not even the dlcs, I prefer the games in the style of before, where they were released full and you didn't have to pay to play another piece of it.

CD Projekt Red is a developer that has proven you don't need loot boxes to make money.

And the AAA industry saying it will raise prices is a scare tactic I believe so people will stop pushing for a loot box ban.

If they are just cosmetic that's fine but it is when they put very good weapons or armour in them and there is a very small chance of getting them so people but them again and again

Its a bit of a sensitive subject at the moment isnt it?

Seems like there's been alot of controversy around this topic of late (again).

I feel like if the loot boxes are just cosmetic, then its fine, let ppl spend their money on it if they like, but i dont believe there should ever be a pay to win option for any game, as the ppl who have all the money or paid items in the game will ruin it
for the rest of the gamers who are grinding through.

Having a fancy premium skin on your gun in apex isnt going to make you win every gun battle.
